Hi everyone!

I’m currently a Chemistry major thinking about going into Pharmacy or some professional medical field. Even though I don’t mind it so much, it’s not my first choice. I’m an arts person (music, film, dance, photography, design etc.). I’m currently doing a music minor as well as my Chemistry degree (I’m a second year undergraduate). I’m just thinking about possible career opportunities in the arts while not focusing on them necessarily in school. The arts are such a iffy career choice, especially when not coming from a super opportunity filled background. This is why I have compromised with going into Chemistry/Pharmacy. However, while doing so, I’m continuing all my arts related activities and hope that in the future I might possibly be able to find work in the arts and have my Pharmacy to fall back on (or even part time to both). I have the motivation and work-ethic to pursue a job in the arts, I just don’t know if it’s realistic without majoring in music/art/dance or something. Most of my resumes would be all portfolio/experience based.

Any success stories would be great to hear :)
