What is school spirit like in these schools? Are athletics (and athletes) well supported? If you had a chance to play a sport at either which would you pick and why?
School spirit is all relative. At these schools (like many D3s) school spirit isn’t at the level it is at an SEC school for example. With that said, IMO Carleton school spirit/interest in sports > than Haverford.
I’m not sure what you mean wrt athletics and athletes being well supported…these are questions for the coaches. For example, how often do athletes miss class and how is that received by profs? Are there tutors available to help athletes catch up when they do miss class? Can athletes be any major at the school? What’s the average number of spectators at games? etc.
