I got in! This is one of my top choices! It’s gonna be so hard to choose

Pretty much every AP I could take. I didn’t take 6 classes every semester though; I only did 5.
EC’s: Average for people in my area.
Common App Essay: 9/10
Supplements: 7/10 (Took me a long time, 7= average)
LORs: Above Average (Teacher #1), Average (Teacher #2), and Average (Counselor, I go to a big school)
Fly-in result: Rejected, but I applied towards the end of a rolling-decision period. They did offer me $250 to visit on a diff date though which I was able to do. (So, in a way I consider this as a “2nd best result”). For future students, please please apply to fly-ins. You don’t have to get in, but it’s helpful in determining colleges that are good fits for you.
Visited and interviewed with a current senior there. Interview: 10/10 (My best the entire cycle. My interviewer sent me a hand-written note, not sure if this is normal or not.)
Showed demonstrated interest.
I didn’t get any financial aid

Has anyone from the waitlist heard anything from the school? I’m an international student, and Carleton has been my dream school for some time now. What does one even do to increase their chances? Has anyone gotten off the waitlist yet?
Late, but I was also accepted RD! Probably won’t go due to cost…
My kid declined her spot today. Not enough financial aid offered, so had to let it go. Very sad. Good luck to kids waiting on the waitlist.
