More weed use at Reed than the other two. I would say it has a less practical focus (even for an LAC).
What is your planned major?
I was wondering about those tunnels, too – have been to several Quiz Bowl tournaments there and toured a couple of times – even in winter we were not using tunnels. They do play Broomball at Carleton. 
And are strong in ultimate frisby.
