<p>Well, I got admitted to Carlson without taking Calculus. I’m taking AP Statistics this year.</p>
<p>On the other hand, I’m taking Calculus and keeping an A. I was waitlisted at Carlson.</p>
<p>I think if you read the U of M threads, it’s clear that no one knows what the ad coms at U of M are thinking.</p>
<p>As long as you are taking a math class in place of calculus you should be fine, but you’ll probably be placed on the waiting list if you just recently applied.</p>
