Today, We were able to register for the 4/7 Tartan Day.
Yeah, my son could register for a tartan day, too. Hmm, maybe they havenât fixed it yet? (Still no update on sonâs portal.)

Same here, same message. I was able to register day before yesterday but now itâs showing the message. Are people able to register today as well?
We are able to register. Itâs little convoluted but what happens is
Decision letter (you are already logged in to portal) â https://www.cmu.edu/admission/admitted/visit-opportunities#calendar â click Turn Tartan Days â takes you back to a registration form inside portal
I think only admitted ones can register for Tartan days now after the fix. Last Friday anyone could registered.

I hope thatâs the case because we are the same message you got.
If this was a problem I was encountering in my workplace, Iâd be rolling out during business hours so that the people I need are around to troubleshoot and get the process get back on track if it goes off the rails. This insistence on doing it after business hours have closed for the day (presumably so they donât have to field upset calls from people who donât like their result) is just silly given the problems here. Just turn your phones off and donât answer them if thatâs the only thing keeping you from doing this right. Sheesh.

Called tel:412.268.2082 just now and the person said âThey are still having technical issues. It is a new system and they are trying to figure it all out.â They will start releasing on Friday at 5 PM. It was confirmed once again that there is no pattern.
