They are saying another batch at 5 pm ESt they told they have not sending only waitlist alone all types are coming in both and not all decisions are not released today and it will spill over next week… sorry not a good update on the phone. My son is out so waiting for him to get home to check…

now im scared to open my decision bc i have one… i thought it would be a guaranteed waitlist but knowing it might be a rejection is scary
I guess they were once again unsuccessful in uploading all the decisions. I was told that all decisions would be uploaded by 5 PM today, and that this would be the final release, a couple of days ago.
Did anyone get a non CS school decision today? Looks like all CS decisions are waitlist. If anyone got a different one, please post.

My son got waitlist for CS, too. So many are waitlist decisions today. Makes their explanation to callers earlier this week sound incredibly misleading then, huh?

This year waitlist has been ramped up amongst a lot of the universities it seems.
I believe due to FAFSA delays. They don’t know how many will really accept the admissions.

Yes that’s my thought too.
I am truly sorry that CMU did this to folks - make everyone wait another week just to put you on the WL. Plus the lack of contrition . . . I think this will color future applicants and will affect my son’s decisions to CMU.
