Anyone here accepted, waitlisted or rejected for engineering? Waiting for son to open his decision letter.
so seems this year no rejection, only waitlist?
S24 rejected from School of Music. Just got the letter in portal today (although it was dated yesterday, it wasnât in there when we checked). It wasnât a top contender at this point, so the news was sad but not crushing. Best of luck to everyone!

I think that may have been the case in the past, but my sonâs waitlist letter said the waitlist was non-binding and did not say anything about priority waitlist. But when he went into the portal to accept waitlist it only had the option of priority waitlist or decline spot. Seems like there is just one waitlist and they just didnât change the language in the portal. And common data set says only 45 people were admitted from the waitlist last year (out of around 4500) so itâs more like 1% across the board.

My D24âs acceptance letter said the deadline for commitment is still May 1. Any admitted student received student aid portal access? She was admitted on May 22, but the offer didnât come with the aid portal access.
We have no received any financial info as yet. Hopefully next week. 
Anyone received confirmation email after they submitted the waitlist form ?

Thank you for your comment. I have been worrying that there was no confirmation email. The same happened with NC-Chapel Hill. Got no confirmation email, either. It does make me nervous not to get confirmation. 
Check out your portal I got a confirmation through there, hope that helps!!

Where did you find the confirmation on the portal? I canât see anything that says âwaitlisted.â (Other than in the letter, of course.)
What is range of merit? I heard about endowed scholarships and know someone who just gotâŠ. Just curious
My understanding of endowment scholarships is that they do not change the amount they of aid you receive. It reads as it is a grant but the total amount of eligibility is the same.

CMU does not have merit scholarships from my understanding.
