@MyGPAIsAnL Yes, but those people likely didn’t know about the directory to begin with. If you get an email, you should already be in the directory. If you’re in the directory, you’ll eventually get an email.
Has anyone been accepted into AI? I’ve seen several people accepted into SAMS but nobody into the AI program.

@scullyitsme There should be info in the group I added you to. Also, it’s the email that comes after the acceptance email. This will let you create your own temporary CMU email and account that they’ll email you through.
@ak2018 Congrats! It sucks when colleges don’t give enough aid… but studying abroad sounds awesome anyways.

I got accepted into SAMS today!!!
@MyGPAIsAnL I could do a very rough estimate and say around no more than 700 kids in all of the pre-college. This includes kids who paid to go and got a full-tuition scholarship, so it’s still hard to estimate the spots. In terms of SAMS, it would be best to say that likely 40%-60% of SAMS spots have been filled by now. This is literally just me spit-balling a range as to account for those accepted here and those not on CC.
531 students have been accepted so far under “Summer Pre-College” looking at the directory. This means based on the 700 total estimate from @ak2018, that gives you 76.86% accepted overall. Hence using that percentage for SAMS out of 117 total about 89 kids have already been accepted and there are 28 spots left. These are just rough estimates based on available information so far.
