Carnegie Mellon vs. Cornell architecture - what do you think?

Down to selecting between Carnegie Mellon and Cornell Architecture? Any advice?

I was considering both schools myself back in October but decided to take a chance and apply early decision to Cornell… I ended up getting into Cornell early decision and am psyched about it…
anyhow, Carnegie Mellon was my second option… both schools are amazing in the field, but Cornell is ranked #1 and has ranked in the top 5 for the past few years… other than the rep, what really influenced my decision was the fact that you get to study amongst a very diverse student body whereas at Carnegie Mellon, the focus likes within engineering, architecture, arts, etc… i also heard the ratio for women vs men is like 3:7
Anyhow, Cornell does offer amazing opportunities such as study abroad programs in NYC and in Rome, a small and select program, where you’re bond to get individual attention from teachers within a much much larger college with a great social life. I’m all for Cornell, but I did visit Carnegie Mellon and loved the campus and what not…
You should really make the choice based on your profile as a student and where you think you’d be happier

i think cornell has a much better reputation overall in the architecture world. plus it is an ivy…congrats on getting into both - both are great schools.
