<p>A student from my community would like to work with the UNC basketball team. He has a good chance of being accepted, beginning next fall. Does anybody know if this is possible? I’m thinking this might be a very popular thing on campus, making these jobs very hard to obtain…He thinks it would be interesting way to be involved in a top sports program and is willing to be a hard worker in order to be a part of the program. Any thoughts?</p>
<p>Are you talking about being a basketball manager or more of an athletic trainer? I know UNC has an athletic training program which students apply to around their sophomore year in which they get assigned to work with different teams…one of which could potentially be men’s basketball.</p>
<p>I don’t go to UNC but I’m sure that there’s quite a bit of competition to become a manager. I go to WFU and they put up signs around campus in the fall asking for people to apply to become student managers…maybe it’s similar at Carolina? I have no idea.</p>
