Carpool Karaoke - Paul McCartney

I never thought I would see Paul McCartney sitting on his own toilet singing… hilarious.

I’ve never been a Beatles fan, but it was adorable. I loved the sincere shock of the random people in each place, the delight of James Cordon to be pulled up on stage to sing with them, and the echo chamber. I was shocked how quickly word spread and people mobbed their locations, what a way to live.

Wonderful - made my day - told lots of people to watch it !

I love the Beatles but haven’t listened to them in a long time. I got a little more teary-eyed as each song came on and they would jump in singing. It was so sweet. Loved seeing Paul’s boyhood home, and the pub audience was so delighted. Best spent 24 minutes in a long time!

Such a joy, in a sad week. Thank you!

Thank you so much! That made my day.

Loved it

So great. I got emotional watching it. I was in Liverpool a few years ago and one of the highlights was seeing where Paul grew up. He looks great these days!

Made our day!!!

Okay, that was SO MUCH FUN!

Perfect antidote for a difficult week!

One of the reasons I loved seeing his boyhood home so much is that I have heard he is a fan of Call the Midwife. Paul’s mom was a nurse midwife and his home reminds me of the sets we see recreating London’s East End on CTM. I have the impression that his home is not occupied now, but is preserved as an attraction. For those of you who have been to Liverpool, is that correct?

@2VU0609 - yes, Paul and John’s Liverpool (childhood) homes are part of a tour.

Thanks for the link! I really enjoyed it!!!

Bruno mars and pink was great too. Ed sheeran as well. The tigers above were great and PM was special.

Loved it, cried too

The performance was delightful. I was always a Paul girl. I gave up on the Beatles after Revolver and left them behind with Helter Skelter and I hated Wings, but I always loved Paul.

I loved the expression on the fact of the guy in his 20’s. The older people I got reacting that way, but it was great to see a young person recognizing Sir Paul and leading the cheering.

I don’t have a favorite Beatles’ song but I have one that I despise but it’s TMI to identify it.

My all-time favorite James Corden bit was not a karaoke but the time he did Beauty and the Beast on a public roadway in between traffic lights.

@2VU0609 wow wonderful, epic, tears here, too. Thanks some much for sharing!

Loved seeing all the smiles on the faces! Put one on mine as well. Loved this.

I listen to Beatles songs all the time on my ipod. The Beatles remind me of being in my teens and twenties. It’s not just music for me; it’s the entire experience of that time in my life.
