<p>Is Yale as cowardly as Mark Steyn says?</p>

<p>“Cartoons that shook the world” will be published by Yale University Press this fall. It’s about the Danish Muhammed cartoons of 2005. But there are on pictures of the cartoons in the book.</p>

<p>Mark Steyn pretty much accuses Yale of cowardly appeasement of terrorists:</p>

<p>What’s the other side of this story?</p>

<p>I think it’s the wrong decision but I don’t know if it was cowardly. Whether consciously or not, I think Yale’s hoped for and current relationships with Arab oil states - and Muslim states elsewhere - influenced the decision. That is a different form of appeasement, but one which you can argue for.</p>

<p>It’s not cowardice, they’re covering their a** since they don’t want any trouble.</p>

<p>Do they have the rights to publish the cartoons?</p>
