Hey does anyone know the difference between these two dorms? Which one is better? thanks guys

Cascadilla is in Collegetown, while William Keeton is in West Campus…umm that’s all I can really tell you lol

Keeton is MUCH nicer-- it’s practically a brand new dorm. The rooms are very clean, and if you get a single, or a single in a suite, they are pretty huge. Plus, dorms on west have their own dining halls, and the food is phenomenal. If you are a transfer, the dorms on West offer a much more cohesive and palpable transfer community. In CTown (cascadilla) the rooms are tiny, the buildings feel like prisons, and there is no dining hall. My friends who lived in cascadilla/sheldon hated it because even with a west campus dining plan, its not fun trekking to west in the snow (whereas we could just walk downstairs). They ended up spending a ton of money on food in ctown, and didnt feel as though they knew many transfers or other kids than those who lived on west.

Living in Cascadilla doesn’t mean going into a restricting meal plan, either. Some people do choose to go on a West meal plan, but one could also simply go to the traditional meal plans and simply eat on North/Central.

So at the end of the day- both houses are really nice but keeton is more centerally located with the transfers and has a better food option… and cascadilla is right by the town if you like to go out and eat a lot…

A lot of people in Cascadilla don’t go on any meal plan. This could be considered an advantage if you don’t like eating in the dining halls.

keeton is much nicer. if you’re going to live in cascadilla you might as well get an apartment in collegetown. on-campus housing is expensive

Keeton is better. I agree with swuster. That said, the House meal plans are a expensive and force you to go unlimited.
