case briefs

does anyone know where I can find case briefs, that is other than 4lawschool.com?

The best place to find them is in your notebook, in your own handwriting.

Amen! Take a shortcut now, and you will either: 1) take the bar exam a record number of times; and/or 2) have a worthless $200,000 piece of paper.

Are you looking for them to see how they are done?

I would recommend “book briefing,” in which you highlight and comment upon the case, directly in the book. It takes less time, but, when done properly, gives you the same level of understanding.

oh sorry i didnt fully explain myself. I’m not in law school yet, but for my AP Government class we have to know 50 or so landmark Supreme Court cases. Since my dad is a lawyer he told me to go to 4lawschool.com for quick overviews of the cases, but their database was recently deleted so not all 50 cases are there.

Try commercial outlines.

Which cases do you have to know? Or rather - which subject areas? Criminal? Civil rights?

You could try googling the case names, and you’ll probably find a nice synopsis of each.

its a pretty extensive list encompassing everything from the original tests of the Constitution, like Marbury v. Madison, to civil rights, like Brown v. Board of ED. and Plessy v. Ferguson, and somewhat criminal cases like Gideon v. Wainright.
thanks for your help

so it’s all con law. Get a con law outline - Legalines if you can find it. If not, go for Emanuel; if you can’t find that, try Gilberts.
