I’d like to know what my chances our for these two schools. I’m a rising senior with not a lot of flashy and impressive credentials.

3.5 Unweighted GPA
ACT: 27 Composite. Planning on retaking
SAT: Took once, wrote answers in the wrong section so i had to cancel.
SAT II’s: Didn’t put as much effort in it as I thought. I can definitely do better

Math II - 720
Chemistry - 670
Physics - 620

(Not sure whether two retake SAT II’s or take SAT)

I’ve taken 7 APs so far, not including those APs I’m taking this year.

I’ve volunteered at the VA hospital in rising Junior summer as well as this summer.
(Volunteered about 35 hours during last summer).

Most teachers like me, but I’m not sure they would write very positive recommendations since I’m thinking that they’ll be brutally honest when writing recommendations. In which case, this wouldn’t very good because junior year, I tend to sleep a lot during class and frequently bomb or achieve “passable” test scores, to my utter humiliation.

Would this be enough to be able be accepted into Case or Carnegie with a moderately a good chance?
I know Case has an acceptance rate of about 70% and Carnegie about 35%-ish (Not sure about Carnegie. I haven’t checked much about their applicant stats yet.)

Thanks for your post!
