Youngest son was waitlisted for Physics so still waiting here for final results. I’ve heard there is still a good chance he’ll be admitted. We’ll see I suppose. Congrats to those that got accepted!

Oldest son was admitted to OSU’s PhD program in Chemistry for this fall. So, it would be nice if both were going to school in Ohio as we are OOS.

My son is at Case, which is OOS for us too. I would be happy if our younger one eventually ended up near him instead of a third state!

are you considering to attend Case?

CWRU is pretty expensive though in spite of a scholarship for an OOS!
Is it worthwhile for an UG program, studying CS?

Got offered admission but for the Spring Class, major is not mentioned. Is that common? Had applied for BioChem. Is this common?

My daughter applied EA and was deferred but there was no senioritis in play. After the deferral notification, they came back with a request for an essay of sorts. I figured the deferral was a soft no but she actually ended up getting accepted. I am still in shock because I had mentally written CWRU off as a possibility. I guess you just never know how these things play out! Good luck to your son! I am sure he will do well at whatever place he chooses to attend.

Does anyone know what the difference is between each day of the 2-day Admitted Students Day? The sample schedule they show looks like it’s basically the same for each day. We’re wondering if we can go to just one of the days instead of both.

I called UG admissions to ask this exact question. They told me it was ok to attend one of the days instead of both but if you were going to do that, you should definitely attend the first day. There will be activities for admitted students to interact with current students and I am pretty sure he said that there will be a reception at the end of the first day. Hope this helps.

Case doesn’t admit by major except for Music and Nursing. So, yes that’s normal.

Looking for any opinions between Case and UC Davis - my son was admitted as a physics (college of engineering) major and we are so confused about what to do. We live in So Cal (but I am from southwest Ohio and my mother is still there)

Anyone who got waitlisted in the EA round heard from Case, other than the weekly confirmation emails to be on the waiting list? My son was offered a guaranteed admission if he commits to ED2, but we decided to wait. Thankfully, he has several great options as a result, but he may consider Case BME as the merit offered is pretty good and it is still one of his top choices.

Does anyone know when waitlisted candidates will hear back.

I think the waitlist is starting to move this week.
