We just got an email that basically said (paraphrasing): “We acknowledge your request for financial aid, but if you’d like to withdraw that request, click here.” I guess that’s a reminder that they are need-aware.

we didn’t apply for aid. There is like a lot of email from school in general promoting their various “stuff”. Some times its like 2-3 email per day and also sent to parents

Decisions should be out this week, right? Does anybody know if they email a few days before?

My Daughter didn’t get any mail yet, still waiting.
I was talking to my school counselor and she said Case sent her an email confirming that they will be releasing decisions some time this week. She predicts some time before the weekend

We were in your spot a year ago. Our son has loved freshman year at Case and is thriving there. Good luck to everyone!

My son was accepted EA. He received an email a day before the decision date.

Well, today is Thursday so it’s gotta be in the next day or two, any moment now really.
Its tomorrow. Got this email.
Dear XXXXX
We are so thrilled to have received your application as an Regular Decision (RD) candidate to Case Western Reserve University and am writing to share with you our anticipated release plan for RD applicants.
We anticipate releasing decisions for Regular Decision at 12 p.m. Eastern Saturday, March 16. Around that time, applicants will receive an email providing a link to view their portal with their admission status.
Candidates for financial aid who have completed their financial aid applications also will be able to see an estimated financial aid package online.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission via email at admission@case.edu.​​​

Best of luck to everyone tomorrow who applied to Case. University Circle is a neat area, lots of museums. My son applied EA, was deferred, but also had senioritis this past fall, which dragged his GPA down. Not feeling overly optimistic. May have to take him out for ice cream tomorrow or maybe even a beer.

Does the email mean we can only get the result from the link in the coming email, not on the portal we used before?

Accepted for pre-med (neuroscience) with 240K in aid (60k for each year)!!!

Acceptance letter reads as follows:
“Congratulations! On behalf of the Case Western Reserve University Board of Trustees and President Eric Kaler, it is my honor to inform you that you have been admitted to our class of 2028…”.
But it does not mention the major got accepted into!
Major applied - CS
2nd major - DS

Students are admitted to the university, not the major, so you should be all set with first choice major! Congratulations!
