Casey Anthony?

Angel of Mercy, right?

[Nancy Grace Settles Lawsuit Over Melinda Duckett’s Suicide - ABC News](<a href=“Nancy Grace Settles Lawsuit Over Guest's Suicide - ABC News”>Nancy Grace Settles Lawsuit Over Guest's Suicide - ABC News)

07DAD,

I agree with you completely there. The current obsession with this case can be traced right back to the media personalities that effectively blew up this case.

Which is one of the main reason Nancy Grace can’t back down from her current agenda. If she did, she would lose her newly acquired “fans”.

It’s people like Nancy Grace that need to be reprimanded. They’re the ones that get things like this going, and even when proven wrong, they claim they were doing it for the good of the child/children. (Which is obviously complete BS)

Btw, the exact same excuse has just recently been posted in this thread.

I love the Dalai Lama. ;)

America’s Most Wanted (cancelled by Fox) compared to Nancy Grace to me tells the difference. Stirring up help (apparently not profitable) v. stirring up hate (profitable).

Many of the callers on Nancy Grace are schills. That woman is horrid. She goes off half cocked and even when given information from witnesses ignores it.

If not enough heat builds from the case she drops it.

She has no credibility…

We fail lots of people. That’s why I pointedly linked to the Innocence Project which list 282 people (and counting) who were wrongfully convicted and spent years, in many cases decades in prison - some on death row - for crimes they did not commit. Something actually can be done for them and the others who are wrongfully incarcerated - do you care about them? Why choose to pick away at this one case, about which probably nothing could have been done to save the little girl regardless of how she died?

Casey Anthony is crazy as a Betsy-bug. There’s your “human behavior and motivation” in a nutshell. The legal system worked correctly - her guilt was not proved beyond a reasonable doubt.

See how easy that was? Now you can spend some time thinking about less sensationalized instances of human behavior and have time left over to follow some legal cases which haven’t been distorted by media hypers like Nancy Grace.

Because there’s money in it for her. Have you seen the video of her harassing poor Elizabeth Smart until the poor girl asked her to stop? Little question who Nancy Grace is really concerned about - and that person’s initials are N. G.

On a personal note: I pay attention to what causes me to be interested in stuff, just like I suggest that others do. I abhore Nancy Grace because the first time I ever heard of her was in connection with the Duke Lacrosse case - and I saw what an unethical, hysteria inducing self-promoter she was. But what really concerned me was that I had two sons in college - both athletic, social types - who I could easily see being railroaded like the Duke students were by the kind of lynch-mob mentality she fomented.

So why does that make me sensitive to the current lynch-Casey mentality? Simple: I also have a 21 year old daughter. And I could see her being the target of the same kind of media-fueled frenzy that Casey Anthony is, and that Amanda Knox in Italy appears to be as well. All you folks obsessing over the 2 year old you never knew might consider the possible fate of your teen and adult children as well. The Duke Lacrosse players were stone innocent - but that didn’t slow Nancy Grace down one bit. Your kids could be next.

Who is “wrong” in this thread? Could you be more specific?

You tell me… Who do YOU think is wrong? :D

Looking like a mob mentality with Nancy Grace. Watch out.

Is this HATE towards Nancy Grace.

Let Nancy Grace tell us who is right or wrong, OK?

I haven’t said I thought anyone on this thread was wrong. You, however, did. I don’t like to misinterpret posts, so in order to comment, I need you to clarify.

^^^
Slacker, your response here is a cop out. I’m still waiting for a response to my comment to you concerning posters reconsidering their position. You seem to conveniently ignore any input that is contrary to your assertions.

I guess I can spend my time any way that I wish but thanks for the suggestion. I know you are just wanting what is best for me.

LOL. I can’t speak to others. I know through experience. I had a friend named Bethany Decker that went missing at the beginning of this year, look her up. She spent half of a 2 hour show on her and dropped it. We were put on hold (phone) for the show and never got to say anything. Some weird people we DON’T know were saying all kinds of weird stuff that was off.

No more coverage, no nothing…

Everything that has been posted is all that will be posted on that subject.

Have you reconsidered your position? You possibly reconsidering doesn’t equate to everyone.

I’m not copping out. Perhaps I’m trying to deescalate what I perhaps escalated by leaving it alone… ;)

Uh huh. How very convenient.

Well, if you feel froggy then leap. The posts are there. LOL

Are you baiting me? ROFL!!!

I’m sorry for Bethany - I hope she is found safe.

But you have Hatred for Nancy because she wouldn’t help you and your friend was missing.

But I don’t blame you for that. If you hate her - that’s fine with me.

I’m not going to start quoting the Dalai Llama to you.

Awesome :)

Yes, it’s still morally wrong… LOL You got me!

Actually, no. I don’t waste time with that. I read your post and wondered who was “wrong.” People who feel Casey Anthony killed her child? People who think she was somehow involved? Or simply people who wish her ill? Just trying to see who is “wrong.” The posts may be there, but since I work long hours, there is no way to sift through the hundreds of posts you have written that I have not been able to read. I thought perhaps you might clarify and save me hours of going through them. I would certainly be willing to do that if someone truly wanted clarification from me and I could do it concisely.
