Please don’t blame the jury. They wouldn’t even have taken 10 hours if they just wanted to get out of there. I’m sure they took their duty seriously.

There is a reason they call this place FloriDUH!

I think it can always be difficult to prove “beyond a reasonable doubt” with only circumstantial evidence… it’s too bad the jurors did not have the benefit of all the media and public analysis that the rest of us had Still - wow.

I wonder what the crowds are like outside at at the Anthony house?

Well, she got what she wanted. I wonder what tattoo she’s be adding now to celebrate. Book deal no doubt coming, so she can continue to slander her father and brother and make money doing it. Poor Caylee - no justice for her.

I think she had some involvement in her child’s death but i’m not surprised she was found not guilty of murder. Does anyone know what type of sentence she will get with those 3(?) charges of providing false information to a law enforcement officer?

Look at her laughing. Makes me sick.

Just disgusting that Jose Baez, the most stupid atty in the land, won this case.

I guess the jury believed the drowning story…I doubt they believed that Geo had anything to do it.

However, Geo and Cindy will still be angry at Casey for putting them thru all this if it really was a drowning.

*George Anthony looked mad, I don’t think she will have a home to go to. *

Don’t blame him. This may break C&G up…Cindy will welcome her home, while Geo will not.

*Does anyone know what type of sentence she will get with those 3(?) charges of providing false information to a law enforcement officer? *

She may get “time served”…but she does have previous felony convictions…I think she has 7 felonies previously.

Probably time served already- she’s been in jail for a couple of years and she will walk on Thursday.

Being a horrible parent doesn’t equal being a murderer…

Wow…

Agree with someone else that it brings back memories of OJ Simpson when it seemed that most people saw the defendant as guilty and the defendant was found not guilty. I would have thought she would be at least guilty of one of the lesser degrees/charges. I wonder what the sentence will be for the charges of providing false information (who provides false information when they are innocent of the charges???). How can she go home again? She (or her defense) pinned a lot on her Dad. She has caused immeasurable pain to her parents.

To see her laughing and giggling and celebrating makes me sick. Her little girl is still dead.

I still think Baez sucked. Some juries just won’t convict if they don’t know exactly what happened.

Wonder how long it will be before she’s pregnant again.

I suspect the jurors will be sickened when they learn the amount of additional evidence (indicating Casey was guilty of at least something) was withheld from them.

SAY WHAT!!! and i was worried they would only find her guilty of the one charge that only carried a 5 year sentence…the one where they think it was a one time child abuse thing… didnt see this coming at all… but wont trash the jury…who knows what process they went through… i wouldnt be able to do it…of course they would never select me for a DP jury…as i can’t support DP

they shouldn’t have gone for the death penalty.

If they’d gone for manslaughter, they would have gotten it.

Too much reasonable doubt, too serious a punishment for the jury to convict.

The woman prosecutor stated it all. She said she was afraid they would not apply common sense to this case and the jurors didn’t. I’m really sick to my stomach and my heart aches for Caylee. That is not justice. To see what Baez did – throw lie after lie after lie out to see what would stick. And I’m sorry – I do blame the jury. They let a con man lawyer throw **** at a wall and they let it impede their judgement. Now, casey will actually make money and so will Baez – She will be SOOO out there selling her story. This is just crazy.

How can a jury be so stupid?

*So much for Jose Baez being a lousy attorney. *

He’s still a lousy atty by normal standards…

And…if there was an accidental drowning, then he’s a pathetic atty to let a 22-25 year old sit in jail the WHOLE time instead of going to the Prosecution much earlier. What young twenties person wants to be in jail during those years?

*To see her laughing and giggling and celebrating makes me sick. Her little girl is still dead. *

Very true.

After reading through the thread, there seems to be a lot of emotional arguments by the mothers crowd. One thing is pretty indisputable (Which is something that jumped right out when I was reading the evidence against her)

There was no direct evidence tying her to the alleged murder.

I’m not surprised in the slightest she was acquitted. The case was entirely circumstancial in nature. From what I saw the prosecutors mainly tried to use her personality/behavior to try to convict her. That is an emotional kind of prosecution that IMHO carries little weight.

Reasonable doubt existed. Don’t blame the jury, blame the prosecution for presenting only circumstantial evidence.

Not Guilty verdict does not mean she did not do it. She did.
