Casinos

What’s the closest Indian casino, or any casino to UCI? Is there something closer than Morongo, since that’s around two hours away. Connected to this, is there some form of anything on the campus itself, since I know colleges like Riverside have poker freerolls and such on campus, but then again, not sure if those are official.

Hawaiian Gardens is very close but you have to be 21 to enter though but you can sneak in easily without getting your ID checked.

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Casino isn’t too far either. (Also 21)

Oh just a warning. These are not really the “casino resort” type of joints like vegas or morongo. It is like a huge card room with nothing really fancy. I would go there if you are only interested in gambling.

Well, as of now, I’m 17, so not sure how easy that’ll be, and 2nd, I’m mostly only looking for Hold’em.

you’ll never make it past sitting down at the table. most holdem tables ask for ID when you buy in

You can probably get into hawaiian gardens easily. There is a side gate. Just walk fast through and act normal.

Pretend you are talking on the phone while you are walking in. That usually worked for me when I was underage.

UCI has some hold’em tournys that clubs hold, not “official” ones… but i believe its either for prizes or money

Haha, four years underage =0?

The only place you can go gamble is at morongo. They allow 18 year olds to gamble there

That’s farrrrrr away though :frowning: Don’t have a car either…
