In the letter for my merit scholarship to College Park, they mentioned that I was invited to take the Catalyst Seminar my spring semester of freshman year. Anyone know exactly what this is or how selective this is? Are a lot of people invited to this seminar?</p>

<p>The Catalyst seminar is supposed to introduce you to research at Maryland.
I was given a flier discussing it, and if I can dig it up I’ll post what it says.</p>
