<p>According to a Pitt source on twitter, the Cathedral of Learning has announced that it will become Carnegie Mellon University property. </p>
<p>Has anyone else heard anything about this? Hopefully this horrible rumor is false.</p>

<p>sounds like an April fools joke. I think Pitt is too dependent upon that building for its classroom and office space and image to ever part with it.</p>

<p>My son got US Postal mail from CMU last week, and I seem to remember a Cathedral picture on the envelope. But maybe I’m confusing that with his Pitt mail.</p>

<p>Probably some of the CS kids at CMU hijacked the Pitt twitter account just to make that tweet. Doesn’t matter, the Cathedral will never be theirs.</p>
<p>I can’t tell if you guys are being sarcastic or not because it is text, but the only reason why that was posted was because our head football coach broke a 5-year contract and suddenly left last week…He informed his players through a text. This tweet was meant as a play on that, jokingly saying that the Cathedral was transferring to CMU…I really really hope that all of you were not being serious about this…</p>
<p>This has been proven false and is not going to happen. I’m sorry to anyone that got nervous; I should’ve used better judgement and realized that it was just a joke on Twitter.</p>

<p>In other news, the White House has announced that it’s being transferred to the Canadian government. And also, Barack Obama just broke his 4-year contract with America to join the Mexican government.</p>
