I know that you can be rescinded because of:
- Low grade
- Lying on application
- Trouble with law
- Trouble with school

But can you get rescinded from being kicked out of NHS/Beta/Key due to failure to turn in service hours requirements?

i don’t think so. how will the college know ?!

No. That’s just plain silly.

I really doubt it. Like athene said, high schools wouldn’t turn that into colleges and a college probably wouldn’t care at all… So you didn’t get the extra 3 hours in NHS, no biggie.

Na, its just my NHS sponsor said (paraphrase) it would be sad for you to not go to Duke.

I don’t think the school will know unless she decides to call the school up, but I did not even know how she knew where I was planing to go. This whole thing even seems ■■■■■■■■ from my perspective.

I mean I was a member (for two years) when I submitted application. I have the hours probably (or a bit short) but did not bother with documentation because I thought everything doesn’t matter anymore. (Grades are still straight A and everything)

She sounds like a jerk who’s envious of your acceptance. She wouldn’t be threatening you if she intended to carry through. Keep your distance/placate her until you’re out of there.

She is my calculus teacher…thats why I had short conversation with her.

Good - just keep in mind that you get to go to Duke and she only gets to stay on teaching calculus with a vindictive attitude. You win.

Remember those PE teachers who always say “If you can’t run a mile in eight minutes or less you’re not going to pass PE and then you’ll never get into a good college?”

Two degrees later, I still have never run a mile in eight minutes or less. Sometimes teachers are… misinformed.

Not really. It must be a Rich Thing ™.
