Caveman/slow carb/4hb diet tips for Berkeley

So for those of us who are fans of the slow carb diet (summarized <a href=“How to Lose 20 lbs. of Fat in 30 Days... Without Doing Any Exercise - The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss”>here - basically, no carbs, fruit, dairy 6 days of 7; focus on meat/protein, beans, and vegetables) what have you found to be the best method of going about it in Berkeley?

I like getting a Chipotle burrito bowl (w/out rice) for lunch, and going up to whichever of the dining commons has the most appetizing meat dish for dinner. For breakfast, I try to fry up an egg or two with vegetables. During the summer I kept and made chicken breast with vegetables, tofu and beans but this semester I don’t have the time for home cooking.

What are your recommendations for getting by (preferably in an easy and tasty way) on a slow carb diet as a Berkeley student?

eat salad.

sounds terrible to be quite honest. Why would you do that to yourself?

@Batman17,

Because it keeps you trim and handsome. E.g. like me.

Main reason I’m asking is that there might be some places I haven’t heard of that are good for this sort of thing.

Isn’t that the diet whose “creator” died of a heart attack? Lol
This is probably super obvious (I’m a noob, what can I say), but Foothill DC has beans and tofu almost daily (at least that I’ve seen this week) along with salad/vegetables at the salad bar…?
