CB no help: help me CC!

Hi!

I’m an international student who will send applications to Ivies (nothing else since I won’t bother crossing the atlantic if I don’t get into top tier schools)

Have done the SAT I: 730/740/730 = 2200

Will risking a lower score in a retake hurt my chances for e.g. Yale who don’t allow Score Choice if I do worse?

I think I can improve as I feel English should be my strong point and not math, as my scores would indicate.

The Skills Insight tells you how to get into the 700+ bracket but leaves those looking to approach 800 wanting.

Therefore CC, how would you suggest that I brush up for the essay (which I was cocky enough to think i would score at LEAST 10 on and ended up getting 8) and manage those sneaky few questions to land me close to or at 800 for critical reading?

Thanks guys!

I would say try again with the SAT (or even try the ACT, if you don’t do well, you don’t have to send both tests). International students need to be as competitive as possible.
