what are my transfer prospects for top humanities schools?

I want to major in english and then go to law school, so schools where a good GPA is impossible are out of the question.

The CC where I live sends students with stats like yours to top liberal arts colleges and universities every single year. Whether you can get into a school like that, coming from your CC, is something that I can’t predict. However, the transfer counselors at your CC should be able to. Make an appointment with them, and get their advice on how to proceed.

Amherst is one premiere institution with an emphasis on the humanities–English, in particular–that pays significant attention to outstanding community college transfer applicants such as yourself.

I would consider applying to all of the top liberal arts colleges. Perhaps Amherst or Middlebury? With your excellent stats, you will have a great shot at a top institution.
