I haven’t ever seen repercussions, thankfully, but yeah, I’d forgotten it was there. Yikes. Don’t like it at all.
It’s probably some affiliate scheme–the owners of this site probably get something in exchange for the FB button. I guarantee the number of CC users who like it is negligible and there are plenty of us who actively dislike it.
