<p>I was thinking, are there any books you would recommend to others? One that I would like to tell you is the book Domers by Kevin Coyne. You can get it on Amazon for $.23 used so it may be worth a look. It is a very good book telling you about what life at Notre Dame is like and I recommend it to anyone before they come out to ND. I read it before I started at Notre Dame and I found it to be very helpful.</p>

<p>Kevin Coyne is a reporter who spent a year at Notre Dame and then wrote the book about his experiences. He follows students and their experiences and also talks about some of the great people that make Notre Dame special. I think anyone who loves Notre Dame would enjoy this book.</p>

<p>Anyways, that is my recommendation, what is yours?</p>

<p>During the summer a few years back, I picked up a book called “College Admissions Trade Secrets” by Andrew Allen. It does not explicitly deal with Notre Dame, but it does justice to the admissions process in general. It gives the aspiring high school student direction in choosing colleges, visiting colleges, making the right moves during the admissions process, etc. I knew the majority of what Allen wrote before I read his book, but I found myself going back to it during my senior year to assure myself that I was not neglecting anything. Current Domers would probably not find any use for the book, but students entering the admissions process might want to check it out.</p>

Just bought College *******: Notre Dame, written by a current ND student and published a few months ago.
Not sure there was any more additional information than provided by all the helpful CC’ers, but a nice overview of the school and area.</p>
