CC Dissed on Sound Money

Guess whose book has a list price of $25?

(Though it is, of course, cheaper on Amazon.)

^Brandeis had no graffiti (at least in the admissions building, but cool dual flush green toilets).

MathyWrathy

I just listened to his NRO interview, during which I kept thinking it was too bad he wasn’t a regular poster here. I think he might have enjoyed it, contributed some interesting and amusing discussion, and gotten a lot of reassurance out of it. Though of course that means he wouldn’t have been able to save his material for a book. :)

He says at the end that as far as he can tell, his kid is happily going to football games, painting his chest, and majoring in beer. Yet he also talks about how at least some college students aren’t learning anything (or not learning much) during their undergrad years. Hmmm.

IloveLA

Sorry to disappoint, but there is already a loveydovey. I responded to one of her posts recently.

oops–looks like it is spelled luveydovey. You are good to go.

As I said, sour grapes. Their bathrooms are fine. Well, the ones in my son’s frat house are truly frightening, but I doubt he saw those. :D

"I’d just like to say that back in the heyday of the Meta thread I was not one of the cool kids. "

But now we all have a chance to rectify that problem. ;)

PS I have no idea how to get these quotes to work right.

kinder tinder

[ quote ] PS I have no idea how to get these quotes to work right. [ /quote ] becomes

if you just leave out the spaces between “[”, "]"and “quote”.

We’re here to serve :).

Signed,
“one of the former cool kids” aka
momofuppitywuppy aka
jmmom (sadly this name just does not “compute” - j’mommywommy?)

I saw the Fox and Friends interview with his son, Gillum, a sophomore at UVa. I had a feeling it was UVa.

I have nothing to add. I just wanted to type “dandy garlandy” again.

I’m lurking again because I can’t turn momofthreeboys into anything cutesywootsy…but…I’m trying to figure out who puppywuppy is…am I slow…not one of the cool kids…has everyone figured it out but me???..

Gee, you have use quotations marks to show a quote. Who woulda thunk?
Duh, as my D used to say. (Which was still somewhat preferable to the replacement, “Whatever”.)

Momof three boys change your name to Mom3XY
Then you can be Sexy XY
And checkout posts 1 and 2 on this thread for the beginning of Puppy Wuppy.

I saw them on Fox and Friends, and the son said his dad scored a 300 on the SAT math. Should we take advice from this guy?

Barfy Flarfy

No quote marks, kindy. Just [ quote ] and [ /quote ] but no spaces. C’mon… you can do it!

I think I can, I think I can.
windy kindy

I believe what they’re trying to say is…

How you do bold

How you do italics

How you do underlines

How you do colors

How you do invisible on the gray format

How you do invisible on the white format

OK, puppywuppy, you have now demonstrated that you must a CC regular by your effective use of codes and that you know how to use noparse!

CounterDowner

Perhaps… Or maybe the information is readily available via search. Who knows?

Perhaps I’m you and made this exchange to defer suspicion, and I am only saying this to further do so, for why would I draw attention to it if it’s true??

The thing that apparently set him off about the Dart bathrooms was a taped-up flyer about a sex fair, complete with free prophylactics and free Ben and Jerry’s. That’s why “we” (as Ferguson put it) didn’t go to Dartmouth. Good thing they didn’t look at Northwestern! :D

Is that true??? ^^^

If the kid wants to paint his body and major in beer-drinking, the dad better hope his son takes advantage of the prophylactics.

As I understand it prophylactics are freely provided at UVA — safety first!! :)
