I am in the process of applying for colleges to transfer into, but I have a stumbling point when it comes to the date of entry section. What date should I put down? I enrolled, took the placement, and attended orientation in a particular year at my community college. However, it wasn’t until a couple of years later when I actually entered a classroom. Thanks.

When you first enrolled, didn’t you subsequently drop all your classes (I’m assuming you don’t have a semester of Ws)?

Entry is likely the semester that first shows on your transcript.

I meant enrolled into community college, but not the classes. It shows on the enrollment verification the date when I signed up for the college. However, my transcript does reflect only my classes.

Actual entry is when you started taking classes.

Thank you for clarifying.
