Do four year colleges typically think “less” of summer courses? You get the same amount of credits as you do for the regular semester courses, but is there a way the 4 year school wouldn’t accept the summer credits as easily as the regular credits? I’m thinking of taking 5 summer classes, so that’s why I’m asking.

There is no reason why they would think less of them. The credits are the same. Most four year schools offer some summer courses as well.
