CC to CAl state and UC

Hi, I am a second-year cc student I am transferring I was wondering I have a 3.1 GPA what are my chances of getting into cal state long beach, Northridge, and Fullerton as a business major.

What are my chances at UCR or and UC as a business major

Finished golden Four all A’s
Currently finishing prereq business

Here is 2 links to help you gauge your chances:

  1. For the Cal states, this links show average transfer GPA by campus by not major. Are you local to any of the Cal states you are applying? You should get priority if you are local.

  1. For the UC’s, here is the transfer GPA admit range by campus and major (2018 data most current).

UCR looks doable. I am assuming the other UC is perhaps UCI? That will be a reach with an admit range of 3.67-4.00.

In high school i took cc classes for some remedial in high school now that I am in cc do i put those classes on the UC app and CAl state or do I start at my freshman year

All transferable college courses should be included, even if you took them while in high school.

For CSUN, you may want to read https://www.csun.edu/admissions-records/transfer-impaction . Based on last year’s thresholds, your 3.1 college GPA would make CSUN a likely or safety if you are within its local area (2.00 GPA needed last year, but some business majors admit to pre-major rather than major), but a reach if you are not (3.50 GPA needed last year).
