I’m currently in my first year at Lehigh Carbon Community College pursuing a degree in Engineering , preferably Mechanical. I have about one more year left( or more depending if I take summer courses) and I’ll be transferring out of here. My stats are as follows:
3.5 GPA ( I should try extra hard in a few semesters to get this up my goal now is a 3.7)
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society of Two year Colleges
STEM Education Scholarship Program
Possbily an opportunity for a Summer Honors program at Bucknell University ( I haven’t gotten the acceptance or declination yet)

and I’m working on getting a few job shadowing opportunities to get to put on my resume and gain experience of what it likes to be an engineer.

I really want to go to Lehigh University ( any tips for this?)
And maybe University of Pittsburgh and Penn State.
Temple University is my safety school

What other schools should I consider, and what should I work on to make sure I’m able to get into any engineering programs at the above listed schools.

Thank you in advance.
