im planning to transfer to ucla/berkeley this year. Does it matters if i don’t take my Cal 1 and Cal 2 consistently; ive taken Cal 1 in the spring, and im planning not to Cal 2 in this fall, im planning to go for another G.E class

why wouldn’t you? Cal 2 builds on Cal 1 and the more time in between the more time you have to forget

I agree with Peter86, math skills are highly perishable and if you are not constantly doing math you forget how to very quickly. My son took Calculus I this past Spring and is now taking Calculus II for the Fall and will take Calculus III next Spring. I had him doing Calculus problems for about two hours each day during the Summer because I know that even two months away from math results in a real degradation in math skills.
