CC Valedictorian

Hi everyone, I recently found out I was in the running for valedictorian of my community college. They are interviewing the candidates and will choose from there. I have a 4.0 gpa and a compelling story about obstacles I have overcome. However, I get really nervous during interviews and speeches, so I’m not sure if I want to pursue it.

I guess my questions are:

1) Is this a big enough deal that I will regret not going for it?

2) Do I have a chance even though I have no community service or school involvement?

2) What kind of questions do you think the panel will ask during the interview?

Thanks for your time!

It is a big deal. You are graduating at the very top of your class.

If you need to interview, I expect that they are looking for a graduation speaker. Is that true? Do you want to speak? If you don’t, you still have your excellent grades and will graduate with some kind of honors.

For ideas about the interview questions, ask your professors. Some of them might have been on that committee in the past.

Congratulations and good luck!

This is good post.No idea about this post.I’m an school student. What you mean by CC Valedictorian?

Please help.

Hi I have the same question! What questions did they ask you? Did you get it?
