They have traced the tainted romaine to California, but they still haven’t located exactly where.
We just got a free bag of salad mix from the store discount program. Of course it had romaine. So much for the free deal.
There’s romaine growing in my garden but it’s still kind of small to be eating much. Maybe I should have planted more. :-/
I was at mall yesterday and mentioned to the workers that romaine was recalled per cdc and she said no worries, bought it from small local farmers not continental us.
My market took back my two bags today and let me exchange them.
Romaine is back.
