<p>Colt McCoy and pretty much every top athlete from football/basketball/baseball destined to join the pros.</p>

<p>Not counting future professional athletes, the last “celebrity” at UT-Austin that I can think of was Jenna Bush, when her dad was still president.</p>

<p>Sure, and Michael Dell, Renee Zellweger, Richard Linklater, and Robert Rodriguez, too, but none of these people were celebrities while they were at UT. Celebrities attending UT is not the same thing as distinguished alumni.</p>

<p>No one is famous while at UT except for the athletes…there is no real draw for them professionally to attend UT as they wouldn’t really be able to continue their career.</p>
<p>Maybe someone from a reality show, but I don’t consider that to be “celebrity.”</p>
