Hi!
I thought this would be an interesting thing to talk about…are fashion models “celebrities”? I was talking with a friend about when a person is considered a “celebrity” and we got into this topic… honestly i’m unsure of the answer because I always thought a “celebrity” was a household name, someone that attracts lots of papparazzi (spelling?), etc…well, not all models are household names, but there are quite a few that are (cindy crawford, naomi campbell, heidi klum, giselle bunchen, tyra banks, adriana lima, etc.)…they do not attract a lot of papparazzi (spelling again?) but some do and you see their face in magazines, campaigns, sometimes on tv, they typically are in a celebrity “circle”, make millions of dollars like celebrities, etc. so what do you all think? would you consider fashion models celebrities? just curious to see what people think

are porn stars celebrities?

i don’t think so

If lots of people like them, they are celebrities. Are all actors celebrities? No. Are SOME actors celebrities? Yes. Some examples are: (models) Kate Moss, Giselle Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks; (porn stars) Jenna Jameson, Ron Jeremy. Lots of people like and know these people. Celebrities. Yeah.
