Cell Phone Providers at auburn?

I’m from Utah, going to Auburn next year on a Tmobile cell phone plan. My contract is up next month and I’m thinking of switching providers because when I went down to Auburn for TALONS day in February, Tmobile’s service was terrible (and their service up here isn’t the greatest). What has been y’all’s experience with AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint coverage-wise? Any information would be very helpful! Thanks(:

We haven’t had any problems with Verizon.

Our family has TMobile - our daughter has never had a problem in Auburn or in the buildings - only one is the student center which she says a lot of people lose service in. We have NEVER had any problem with service when visiting and have been there 8 times in the last 1 1/2 years.
On game day - EVERYONE has problems with calls, text or BBM’s - the system is overloaded

Our D has T-Mobile,and hasn’t had much trouble. It seems like reception is worse on football weekends, which is really odd. I think Verizon is the school’s “official” provider, though, and there is a Verizon shop in the student center.

We have Verizon and have been happy with them.

As a student at Auburn, you can get a discount with Verizon. You will get 20% off eligible plans( which includes all but the unlimited plans) and 25% off accessories.

Here is a link to Auburn site talking about it.

Bringing this back up again since we are now out of contract with T-Mobile and going to IPhones on either Verizon or Sprint. Any input on Sprint on campus? I still need to compare data prices between the two, but if Sprint does not work well we will just go with Verizon.

My daughter is there and we have Sprint. I have not had any problems getting in contact with her nor do I recall having any problems during my visits. Surprisingly the calls do not drop even when she’s on the elevator. Our average call time 1 hour. She often calls me after her last class and speaks to me as she walks back to her room in the Village.

Thank you! The Village last year our daughter had no issues with TMobile in Aubie, this year she is in another in the Village and has had issues.

FYI, D is in Plainsman. Good luck.

mw4hsk I spoke with D this afternoon she says she does not get service while in the student center. She feels Verizon would probably be best. Good luck, my DH will never switch so she’ll have to deal with it.

Sprints works very well for my son.
