I have no clue why it’s saying this. I completed the FAFSA, to the point of no red errors showing up on the FAFSA slides. Why would it even be saying this?

I don’t know what an SAR is, but I don’t see it anywhere on my FAFSA login, so I can’t do anything with something that doesn’t even seemingly exist.

When you login to fafsa are there two buttons that say View Processed Information? One is pdf the other html. Clicking one of those will bring up your SAR. If the buttons are there but don’t work, disable your pop-up blocker.

When you login, what does it say the status of your fafsa is?

Also did you electronically “sign” AND did one of your parents sign electronically. It’s the last step before you submit. The two pin numbers are different and the pin will match so for example of you mom name would use her pin …and you use your pin. You only need one parent (if your mom and dad are married) with a pin number.

Please refer to the Student Aid Report (SAR) Part 1 and Part 2 for directions on how to correct or update information.

Do this ^^^^. The SAR will have details about what is wrong. Read it & fix it. It is possible that you omitted a parent signature, or there may be some other small thing you did incorrectly. It happens a lot, but you need to take care of it right away. The date of processing is the date the FAFSA is SUCCESSFULLY submitted, so you need to get the corrections in. Right now, your FAFSA is rejected.
