Central Saint Martins requirements?

I’m looking at going to Central Saint Martins for my MA in Fashion Communication, with a focus on Fashion Journalism, but I’m confused on the requirements. On the site, it states that the main requirement for applicants to have is a: “First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degree from similar BA courses in Fashion Journalism or Communication, but more typically from humanities subjects at university.”

My question is what’s a first class or upper second class honours degree? Secondly, right now I’m getting my BA, and my major is marketing, and my minor is journalism?Would that count as similar BA courses, because of my Journalism minor or no?

Send an email and ask if your major and minor will be acceptable preparation. You have plenty of time to find out as applications for journalism have closed for admission next fall, and I presume you are thinking about entry in 2019.

The degree classification is likely to be equated to a GPA of something like 3.0-3.3ish - again contact them directly to see what they would regard as being equivalent.
