Which books are good and challenging for SAT preparation. When i say this i mean some good books to help me improve my CR section and the way i comprehend the passages.

Everyone says to read read read. But can anyone name me some good books to start with at a Highschool Senior Level.

Thank you

I know your gonna say read anything like the newspaper but i am looking for novels and good ones.

I have to read Brave New World and In Cold Blood for summer reading(i’m a senior as well).

Here is the reading list: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/524047-official-summer-reading-list-sat-prep.html

You can’t just read, you need to learn to analyze what you read.

There are about 50 threads asking about books. The CB Official Guide is the bible because of the practice tests. I think Rocket Review is good for CR and most people agree.

Anything other than the College Board tests isn’t realistic. IMO it is worthless to study for something that you will never see on the test.
