Chance 5'10 Junior For Dartmouth ED (and others) [MD resident, 95.8% GPA, 32 ACT (34 superscore), biology and pre-med]

As others have said, Dartmouth is a high reach for anyone. You have the stats and are applying ED, so you are giving it your best shot and will just have to wait and see. On another note, I see that a lot of your other reaches really like ED’s and have an ED2 round, so you may want to consider an ED2 to one of them if you get denied from Dartmouth ED1. Do you have a second favorite?

They super score but they will see your individual scores. You asked for an opinion and mine is your ACT single sitting is a bit low for Dartmouth. That being said you have other great accomplishments to play up.

Thanks for info! My other favorites are Emory, Vanderbilt, Colgate, and UVA. I think some of these have ED2. I will definitely keep this in mind.

Yes, Emory, Vandy, & Colgate have ED2, so I would recommend having one lined up for an ED2 in case Dartmouth is a denial. Also, UVA doesn’t have ED2, but they do have EA, so you should apply there EA. Good luck to you!
