USC and Michigan are not in that price range. You are not going to find the schools, that you’ve listed, as better priced than Arizona State.
The majority of your list is extremely costly.
If anything, they are insanely expensive and the return on your investment may not be viable in two years. The current graduates are having a difficult time finding employment.
USC, a private university is over $90k.
Michigan, a State University, is OOS and is $80k+. You can expect that price at UCSD.
Don’t expect merit scholarships there.
Since you’re over 24, you may be able to qualify for loans, but for an undergraduate degree, it makes no sense for you to be paying $200,000 for two years.
Also Federal funding, is known to be on the chopping block, for loan programs.
Your GPA and resume of what you’ve currently done, will impact your chances at these schools.
Covid was a different time and the schools are trying to get back to normal, so it makes sense that you didn’t get the right vibe at Arizona State because we were at a different crisis mode.
I would suggest you contact Arizona State and see if you can return. Applying to these other schools will be a challenge and you may be disappointed.
