No idea but you are certainly worthy - so it’s a fair shot.

Good luck.

On the one hand you are a very competitive and compelling applicant to Stanford, or to any other university.

On the other hand, 80% of applicants to Stanford are academically qualified to attend (this number comes from an article in the Stanford alumni magazine from a few years ago). Also, the 4% who are accepted includes legacy students and athletes.

I think that your chances are probably somewhat better than the overall 4% acceptance rate. I still think that Stanford is a reach.

You need to also make sure that you apply to safeties.

If you get in then you can get a great education at Stanford (personally I loved it when I was there for my master’s degree). If you don’t get in, then Stanford will still be there when you are looking for a graduate program. In my experience the various Stanford graduate students come from a very wide range of undergraduate universities. I am guessing that at that point you are still going to be a very competitive applicant.

Edit: I might add that being a student at Stanford is a lot of work. Classes go quickly and there is quite a bit of homework. I still remember doing homework on Saturdays and Sundays, in addition to 5 nights during the week. With the quarter system, the end of the quarter comes up quickly and you need to be caught up and ready for finals. The desire to work hard and learn a lot needs to come from inside yourself. Given what you have accomplished up to now, I am guessing that you will be fine with this.

Thanks for this info
I did apply to multiple safeties and targets early round as well, but I didn’t list them in the post. Just wanted to know if I stood a chance for Stanford mainly

Yes, you have a chance. As others have said, you certainly appear qualified. But as you know, the acceptance rate for Stanford is absurdly low and there are more well qualified applicants than spots available. Much will depend on things that can not or should not be shared on a public forum such as essays, LORs, etc.

Glad to hear you have match and safety schools in place.

Keep up the good work and best of luck in the college admission process.

Update for anyone who sees this later: I was unfortunately rejected. Best of luck to anyone else applying Stanford.

Wow it’s crazy that you would be rejected with such stats!
I know someone who was accepted and what I think got them in is 1. parents from humble background ( possibly first gen college) they are also immigrants from very underrepresented country/area and 2.large scale athletic achievements .

Otherwise your accomplishments are far more impressive. Good luck with the rest of your applications

You took your shot and that deserves a congratulations.

Sorry about Stanford. With your strong profile I expect you will have many fine options at the end of the cycle.
