So this is how my story goes. In H.S I never got good grades mainly because i was hella lazy. I got good grades on test, because i understood the material and I didn’t see why I had to do work if I understood what I was doing. The funny thing is all teacher don’t feel that way, but some did other wise (Physics teacher, pulled off an A+ and didn’t do any work, my teacher said, “homework is pratice” he was my idol haha best class ever). My SAT(2290) and ACT(34) score were really High considering my “race” some of my… how can i put this, non-black friends taught i was very gifted. I never believed in such thing. I applied to school in H.S, and got into SDSU, CAL POLY and UCR. UCLA and CAL sent me letter after my rejection saying that my gpa 3.4 was slightly low, but they were really impressed about my sat scores and that I should re-apple as a trasfer. It was little motativation for me becuase I knew i was “smart” enought to attend those schools but not “turning hw and doing work” smart. So I just turned 19 and I’m about to apply UC’s and CSU only in a year from commuunity college due to my high pass rate in AP classes. So I’m here at college confidential one of the most well decked college prep/chance/smartest people site to see my chances for schools like CAL, UCLA, Cornell, University Texas at Austin, John Hopkins, Vandy, and Stanford?
