your test scores aren’t too high so it’ll all depend on your grades. your extracurriculars are good though. i think brown will be a reach

but you’re from the Caribbean, and I don’t know for sure, but I have a feeling they dont get a lot of apps from there. so that helps. and you EC are pretty good.

brown, and basically all the top 20 schools, are reaches for everybody. but i would call it a super-high-basically-impossible reach. just a reach (or even a lower reach b/c of the Caribbean thing)

i don’t know for sure, but being a Caribbean will help. Are you putting Black or Hispanic on the Ethnicity question?

Btw, I spent a year in the Dominican Rep when I was 17
God bless Hispaniola!

I put Black/Caribbean on the common app. I just sent my scores. I only sent Math and Bio. Should I also send Lit?

I think they just look at your highest scores…I sent my three scores with the free report included in the SAT registration, I really hope they look just at my Spanish and WH score…

Bump! Anymore opinions! I’m retaking SAT I in jan and having those scores rushed.

You’re a very competitive applicant IMO. Make sure your personality comes across in essays/recs and I think you have a great chance! good luck
