AP Tests(School only allows 1 AP in 11th grade): 4 in AP Chem
Senior Schedule: Honors Physics, Honors Sociology, Honors Comparative Religion(required), AP Gov, AP Calc BC</p>

<p>ECs:
-Spearheaded, own, designed a well known economics website
-Self taught C++, Delphi, Java, VB, PERL, PHP, JS, XHTML/CSS. Coded many programs and scripts. I’m going to put a link to my site with all the programs in the “Additional Information” section of the common App
-2nd Singles Varsity tennis - 11th/12th grade
-Web based security research. Wrote papers on SQL Injection, XSRF, etc.
-Quiz Bowl, Science Club, Science League, and other generic crap
-Raised money for certain political candidates
-Volunteered over 300 hours for political campaigns
-Created and run a Political Action Committee</p>

<p>Awards: American Chemical Society award, Science League award, Minor crap(Honor rolls, olympiad, quiz bowl, etc.)</p>

<p>Jobs: Freelance Web Designer, Freelance Programmer</p>

<p>Other Info: My counselor asked me if I had heard of free base cocaine and my teachers think I’m a pothead even though I’m a Mormon.</p>

<p>You really show a dedicated interest in Computer Science and I think that looks great but your GPA… that’s going to be very detrimental.</p>

<p>Ivies are all reaches, awesome resume all around except for some of those grades/GPA… those will hurt. Otherwise, a pretty fair shot at each.</p>

<p>Would the mid year report GPA and rank be considered before a decision is made?</p>

<p>The only school you’ll definitely get into on that list is Rutgers.</p>

<p>All the others are reaches, some astronomically so.</p>

<p>The fact that you have a C+ and a D (in AP Chem, no less) and a bunch of B’s really kills your app at most of the places on your list.</p>

<p>I’d shoot lower if I were you, unless you’re content with going to Rutgers.</p>

<p>your grades are iffy but give it a shot! Have an amazing essay and you never know! Rutgers is an in though!</p>

<p>That’s what I figured. The problem is that my SAT scores are better than my grades, but most places better than Rutgers will still reject me.</p>
