Chance a curious junior, please :)

About Me
First of all, I understand that my stats are not perfect. If I had ridiculously outstanding stats, I wouldn’t be asking to be chanced ;). Furthermore, these are not the only schools I am applying to (actually, I don’t know if I am applying to these schools for certain). I have safety schools, etc., I just want to be chanced for the colleges I’m unsure about. I am doing this because I would like to gain perspective on my chances at certain colleges, I think this will help me in the application process.
I am interested in double majoring in Humanities (history, philosophy, literature, art, music, etc.) and French. I understand that each school on this list may not have a Humanities major, however most of the schools that do not have an Independent Major. Even if the Independent Major is not available, I could always major in a specific subject within the humanities.
I feel a little uncomfortable attesting to my own personal character to online strangers, however I guess I’ll have to deal with it! I have been told by my teachers that I have great character. Furthermore, teachers have told me I am a quirky and bright individual who any school would be lucky to have. I’ve also been told if I can demonstrate my personality in my applications and interviews, then my chances of going to a top school will be good. I have done a lot with my ECs and outside interests and they all connect to what I am interested in (at least I think so).
I appreciate any insight/help I can get. If there are any schools you would like to recommend, please feel free! And thank you so much :)

please ? 10 char

depending on your SATs youll have a shot at all but brown. im guessing 1200/1600 was out of 1600 not 2400 (i hope)

shoot for over 2100 and id expect you to get into all the others, maybe not NYU/Tufts. but possibly.

yes haha my 1200/1600 was my way of typing 1200 out of 1600, like a fraction. sorry that was ambiguous ;( i’m going to try to pull my SATs higher than my guidance counselor says she thinks i will score. i personally think i can get above a 1200, but we’ll see

and thanks for the insight!

Anymore insight will be greatly appreciated :)

More please ? 10char

Any more perspective please ? I’m really curious.

being a male will definitely help you at vassar, conn and goucher.

You sound really interesting and I think you stand out. That being said, I think you have a great chance of getting into all the colleges you listed.

Thank you both! :)

b u m p 10 char!

And these SATs will need to be disregarded in about a month when I get my scores from this weekend back. A few people told me that I’m going to score higher than 1200, but I don’t want to be sure of anything yet :P

I got a 1980 out of 2400 and a 1270 out of 1600… Idk if this influences it at all :P
